“Best assembly in seventeen years!!!”
Who We Are
I began my career as a mechanical engineer, then became a middle school and high school science teacher. I’ve seen firsthand how incorporating demonstrations and humor helps students learn faster and remember longer. That’s why I intentionally make my programs fun and educationally significant. I'm a member of the Oregon Association of School Librarians, the Washington Library Media Association, the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, and the International Brotherhood of Magicians.
I believe each person is created with a purpose in life. And when you
find that purpose, you will find your passion.
Life is too short… Opportunities too abundant… Find your passion. “Since your assembly, books are flying off the shelves!”
-Louise Walkowiak, Librarian, Dufur Elementary School, OR
And don't forget about me - Roosevelt Rat! I'm also in every program that we do for elementary schools. That's because I'm so popular with kids and adults alike. And I'm the author -- check out my books below. I donate one of each of my books to the library at each school we visit. And when you schedule an author visit, we send you a video that introduces us to the students and gets them excited about our visit. It also shows them a little of the process involved in publishing a book. "You were wonderful. I can't think of any way to improve! We will be recalling this day fondly until we have you back again!"
